Mention the word game day to any football fan especially in the South and it immediately conjures up robust feelings of college alma mater pride. Football fans who enjoy game days on college campuses all across America on any give Saturday will tell you that it is not just about the football game. Game day allows for football fans from all walks of life to tailgate together and celebrate legendary food and share memorable experiences of past college life experiences. Bright House Networks Stadium which is located on the sprawling campus of University of Central Florida is a perfect pairing of this game day tradition. UCF which surprisingly currently has the second largest enrollment among colleges in the United States has a relatively growing younger fan base, that is enjoying their alma maters rise in collegiate sports.
The “Bouncehouse” to which Bright House Networks Stadium is referred by fans was rocking this past Saturday as the students were jumping up and down to Zombie Nations song KernKraft 400 during the UCF vs. Houston football game. The excitement around the stadium was definitely intense due to the game being sold out and full of 45,000 wild UCF fans. A fan can’t go wrong by watching a football game inside the “Bouncehouse” because every seat gives the fan a great view of the game. The game played out perfectly for homecoming weekend with UCF hanging on to a nail-biting win, keeping the team alive for their first invitation to a BCS Bowl. The UCF football team is not only winning over fans and alumni by their play on the field, but by providing such an entertaining experience they will be growing young passionate Knight fans for years to come.
