Master Bartender and Advanced Sommelier Adam Seger crafts an unparalleled beverage program with local beers, an expertly curated wine list and stunning farm-to-glass handcrafted cocktails. Not to be missed is Executive Pastry Chef James Rosselle’s cake and dessert cart featuring Raspberry Infinity Cake and Chocolate Meringue Concord Cake! Tanzy’s Weekend Brunch includes mouthwatering offerings from Decadent French Toast to Slow-Poached Egg + Short Rib.
Imaginative and innovative design meets with a whimsical atmosphere featuring neutral and deep plum colors highlighting the bar, dining room and outdoor area. With an eclectic ambiance inspired by the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy, the multi-dimensional environment was designed to embody the nostalgic Italian villas etched into the Coast’s charming mountainside, with expanding dining environments each reflecting a different time and era. No detail was spared when selecting the materials used to create the warm, inviting atmosphere. An enchanted forest is brought to life with several types of woods, bird inspired chandeliers hanging with the glow of flickering candles, and different styles and colors of tile landscaping the walls and pillars throughout the restaurant.

The evening began with a nice sprakling wine and warm Focaccia with Grissini. This was followed up with their Tuna Crudo, Yellowtail Crudo and Wedge Salad - as you can see in our photos, all well presented and quite flavorful. We were then served some of their pasta dishes, Spinach-Ricotta Gnudi (roasted mushrooms, basil pesto, gorgonzola cream, grana padano) and Beet Agnolotti (mascarpone-potato filling, poppy seed, black winter truffle, parmesan). My wife favored thge Spinach while I favored the Beet dish. The entrees they brought out were Black Grouper Puttanesca, Pressed Chicken Mattone (creamy polenta, grilled trumpet mushrooms, blood orange gastrique) and Cowboy Cut Bone-In Ribeye (SDA Choice, Black Angus, Creekstone Farms, Arkansas City, KS, Wet Aged 21+ days). It was hard to decide which was our preferred, but we agreed the Chicken Mattone came out on top. The Grouper and the Rib-eye were close seconds. The grand finale was when they wheeled out the custom made desert cart, selections include Red Infinate Cake, Concord Cake chocolate mousse, chocolate meringue, chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate sauce, whipped cream) and a Cookie Tower (rainbow cookies, pistachio pavé, coconut macaroons, flourless brownies, tea cakes, farmers market strawberries, farmers market grapes). The macaroons were amazing. They also offer desserts from the kitchen and house made Italian liqueurs. I expect the rest of the menu would be as flavorful and comforting... A definite place to return too, for dinner alone or followed up with a movie. Be on the lookout for a new location coming soon to Delray. Tanzy Boca Mizner Park: 301 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL.
