Laforet Wine Review
Maison Joseph Drouhin - Laforet Wines
Joseph Drouhin always had a passion for wine, and in 1880 in Burgandy, he founded the independent company that still bears his name. Today, his great grandchildren, Philippe, Veronique, Laurent and Frederic, run the family-ownrdcompany fromtheir ancestors house.
We sampled the Laforet Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2011 produced from 100% Pinot Noir grape. This is a seductive wine with the smells of red fruits - rasberries, red currants, black currants... After that, in the mouth, lovely spicey notes. And a silky, smooth touch. Very nice.
Laforet Bourgogne Chardonnay 2012 produced from 100% Chardonnay grape. This wine is full of life! A bouquet of citrus aromas, and then we find honey and vanilla... In the mouth, its funky, spontatious, striking - really charming. Served best between 53` and 55`F.

Both wines will be offered for $5 per glass (which is significantly discounted compared to the usual price of between $10-15).
