Life In Color - The Worlds Largest Paint Party, Miami Style
The Worlds Largest Paint Party was this weekend. Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL hosted a 2-day, 3 stage festival. DJs like Kaskade and Diplo
helped the stadium bring in over 60.000 fans. Life in Color turned small paint parties into a thing of the past by creating a bigger and better venue. There were huge stages on both ends of the venue with one small (local) stage in between and… an awesome lit up ferris wheel for the people who were patient enough to wait in the line.At the paint factory stage we saw a few different genres of dance music by DJs Caked Up, Madeon, Dvbbs, Bingo Players, Bro Safari, and Adventure Club. The highlight of the stage was most definitely seen during Diplo’s set (an american DJ, music producer, rapper, and songwriter). On the other side of the festival, at the downtown stage, we experienced a more bass filled party with Borgeous, The Chainsmokers, Carnage, Headhunterz, and my favorites-Borgore, Kaskade, and Juicy J (an american rapper and record producer). The main stages were extravagant- covered in lights and shooting out fireworks- helping to add to the effects of the paint blasts. The small local stage and the even smaller local tent didn’t gain much attention, maybe due to the fact that there weren’t as many lights or as much excitement around them.
The first night, the weather wasn’t perfect but the drizzling rain didn’t phase the energetic, young crowd. The second day we participated in a “paint blast” count down, but by then everyone was already covered in paint, the crowd went crazy for the gallons of pink and green slime-like paint. Luckily, the venue was large, giving the fans space to take a break from the thickness of the crowd, and the mud that the paint and the rain created. Over all, Life in Color was not a let down, the paint cannons and all of the fans created a like-no-other experience. I look forward to the next festival!
Comment from one of the many fans - "Crazy! Fun! Adrenaline pumping ride! Super cool songs, bumping bass, raging crowd and jaw dropping fun! Very few concerts in the world offer the fun and interactivity of life in color. If you like dance or electronic music in any way this is a must see event. This was my second time going and I will go again!"
